The location was particularly good and magnificent, the staff was very polite. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the room was full-size with an amazing view.

a wide range of great food at breakfast time. spotless, cheap rooms with wi-fi, a mattress in the loveseat plus the bathroom, lovely position. location close enough to the cove and the desert.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't
The river views were fine and added a calming atmosphere to our stay. I appreciated the staff's willingness to help during our check-in process, especially late at night.
Unfortunately, the room cleanliness was lacking, with hair found on surfaces and dirty floors. I felt uncomfortable with broken locks, which raised safety concerns .

bedding is good and hotel is well located, it has a parking lot and facilitates the unloading of luggage for access to the rooms.
There is no contact with the hotel manager at the time of departure, and breakfast is not provided.

Laura, at the front desk, was very nice. The lobby was homey. Our room was big enough for us. The beds were very comfortable. They were on the harder side which I prefer. The room was clean. There is a supermarket nearby and many resteraunts from fast food to sit down. Free internet was great.. It was the best value for what we paid.
The double queen room is actually 2 double beds. I have MS and need a bed by myself due to the way I sleep. It was a little small for me. The bathroom needs a bar to help people like myself get "up and down" (that is a pet peeve of mine in anyplace. Just a small bar to help). There is no hair dryer and no in-room coffee( coffee was available in the lobby but did not use.The one thing i really did turn me off was no clock/radio

The bed was very comfortable, and the view of the river was great. Good location.
The bathroom was not very clean as there were hairs in the tub, the tub leaked, the showerhead barely flowed. Not a real suite as the bedroom did not have a door, no ice machine,

Scenic, Scenic, Scenic
The view from my room was amazing, overlooking the majestic Colorado River. Waking up to the sight of boats gliding by while sipping morning coffee on my private balcony was pure bliss. Plus, the outdoor swimming pool provided a perfect spot for relaxation under the sun!
would recommend ❤️🌟

Dianna was amazing! So friendly and helpful! We are already planning a return trip! The room was spacious and just perfect for the price! Ice is $2.00 for a 7lb bag but that is the only downfall :)

The fine river view from our clean room. The only downside was some noise from the road, but overall, it was relaxing 🏞️

Hot rooms even with byjr ba/c on. Fridge was dirty and not plugged in ,plug was very loose. TV had extension cord and was very loose. If your a maint. person this place could keep nyou busy. No ice machine out in the desert, $7.00 a bag from the office.

The Lodge on the River was pet friendly and the staff, Koleta and Diana could NOT have been more helpful, nice or pleasant. I hope they find better jobs.
As for the rest of the place it was a disaster zone. Trash cans on walkways were overflowing and stunk to high heaven, the light in our room bathroom did not work, everything seemed grimy and unkempt. Fortunately we had our sleeping bags and didn't have to climb between the sheets. Some sort of banging was coming intermittently through the wall of our room and the room phone had no dial tone. Creeps roamed the parking lot, lurked outside their rooms and one dude hung out outside of his room drinking beer and speaking loudly into his cell phone. The place seemed more like a halfway house than a motel.

Fine river views but cleanliness needs work
I loved the fine river view from my balcony, made for a relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor swimming pool was a nice touch, although its cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Certain amenities were lacking, such as towels and basic toiletries, which affected my overall experience.
